We had a good day at Calmsden, it is our first visit to this very enjoyable event. It happily gave me my first one day win of the season. Yes I Can, who has been ridden by Hector this season, was having his first outing for me and he led the dressage on a score of 28 with a very nice steady test. He then added nothing for a very satisfying win, and a qualification for a regional final next year. The cross country was very inviting and the ground was good, so it was great to be able to let him run on a bit, and enjoy himself.

Andrew was riding Daddy's Quest and also had a good win, he led the dressage on a score of 23, and did a super double clear for a convincing win by several marks.

I was riding a horse called Georgisaurous in his first event and he had a very pleasing day. He led his section dressage on a score of 27.5, he rolled a pole in the show jumping but jumped a lovely round and cross country he was very confident and put in a good clear, finishing 6th. It was a big day for him and it was just excellent that it all went so to plan.
