We have just had the amazing Aachen experience.  There is no other event/venue like it in the world, so to be there is a complete privilege.  After Badminton I had hoped to take Little Fire there so I was very pleased to be in the 5 selected riders.   We had a very good journey out amidst all the various Brexit battles, fortunately they did not seem too bad this time.  ...

We have arrived in Aachen and are settled in.  We had a good journey from Dorset, a slight delay at Dover with paperwork meant we were behind the 'Team GB' convoy, but otherwise the journey was quite straight forward.  We are third in the team so will be doing dressage on Friday some time.  The weather in Aachen is good, as Europe is in the middle of a heatwave, so hopefully w...

I had a very pleasing day with my youngsters at Farley Hall.   I had Papillon Noir doing his last 100, and he did a mich improved dressage lying in third on 31.  He had a couple of silly poles down and then flew around the cross country with his eyes shut!   Cayiano stepped up to Novice and I was thrilled with him.  He led the dressage on 24, was foot perfect around the sho...

Overall we had a very satisfactory day at Farley Hall. I had a rather large entry so I was very much hoping for things to run smoothly. Friday at Nunney was a boiling day and with four rides   The day started well with Duke Legacy in the Open Novice.  He led the dressage on a score of 26.3.  I just added a small time faults on cross country for his win.  It was a very nice course, and probably slightly easy for him at this stage but it was a good confidence giver ahead of Farley Hall next week.   Cayia...
