Yes I Can achieved the main objection of the weekend which was to get his 4* qualification. It was a long old wait today and it would have been very frustrating if it had been in vein. However he jumped an excellent clear in the show jumping.  The course was once again fairly straight forward but the time was quite tight, so I was delighted to get no time faults.I was last to go on the cross ...

I have had a busy day at Burnham Market today.  The day got off to a good start with Georgisaurous in the Intermediate.  He did a very nice dressage and was in the lead on a rather unremarkable score of 29.  It was an eventful day at Larkhill with some ups and downs.  It is always a great event for the youngsters and I felt the cross county course was much improved this year, as many of the distances were no longer on their half strides so the course could be ridden more forward and more like a cross country course.  However the show jumping was in same vein as Portman and everything w...

It was Greenfort Gorgeous George’s first outing with me in the 100, he did a very agreeable test but he is quite babyish, and I think due to his outline he only ended up with a 36.  In the show jumping he was very confident but perhaps a bit green.  He had not jumped on grass much so it was all a bit new this year, he had one pole down which was totally acceptable.  He was ver...
