It has been a very exciting day at Tattersalls, no more so as Little Fire won the 1*.  He came out today like he had done no work yesterday.  He jumped a super clear round and was very excited by the atmosphere and the crowd, but was happily in his showing-off mode and jumped really well.

It was very exciting to know that he could jump so well on the last day of a three day, and it was thrilling to win as I have been several times in the lead after cross country, only to go down with a fence or two down.

It was also the first time this year that I have let the handbrake off and gone for it a bit so it was fantastic that it came off and great reward for the home team, with Charlie at the helm in Tattersalls, who have all worked so hard.

In the 2* I sadly retired Top Biats who didn't feel himself, and I decided there was always another day.  This obviously caught me by surprise as he has always been very straightforward and easy to ride.

Happily Secret Night held onto his overnight lead with a good solid clear round inside the time, he coped very well with the course and the galloping, which is exciting for the future, and he took it all in his stride.

Hector Payne had a great ride on Dynasty which was really pleasing, he did a super clear inside the time made it look very easy and has moved well up the order.

Both horses look good tonight so we are hoping all will still be well tomorrow, they both show jump in the morning.
