Blenheim - Dressage

Kazu has just done his test in the 4*L at Blenheim, and it has gone very well.  Brookpark Vikenti did a foot perfect test apart from three 'not perfect’ halts, and they are lying in 4th place on 25.6.

My dressage got off to a pretty good start.  Atlantic Vital Spark was on yesterday and did a personal best.  I was really pleased with how well he went,  it is the first time he has done 4* test A and he couldn’t have gone any better at this stage.  It was totally fault free and he scored 28.  After yesterday he was lying 9th, but today he will sadly be drop a bit as they are giving some quite generous marks.

Georgisaruous was in the 4*S   8/9yo class today and I was also very happy with him. it was a new experience performing at this level and he also did a lovely test. I might have hoped for a few more marks but the way he is at the moment, I couldn’t be much happier.  He scored 29.7 which is a little bit below par, but he has got a lot to do over the next couple of days and I am much more worried about the experience and qualification than I am about the result.  The ground is still pretty firm in parts but I believe they are doing everything to make it as good as possible.

I am pleased for Lexi and Chico’s Man, they did a good test and it was her first 4*L.  The few mistakes were expensive but the overall performance was very satisfying.
