Millstreet - first day

Yes I Can has been doing dressage in Millstreet today, he is just doing the CIC2* and he actually did a pretty decent test.  He was very relaxed and focused and did some good work, but his pirouettes were pretty awful.  It is not an excuse but they are a movement that I think should be got rid off.  Who cares about pirouettes?  He scored 33.3 which is not a very good score but he is not here for points and prizes, hopefully this will give him a good easy run before is first CIC3* at Blenheim.  He will be jumping tomorrow afternoon.

Oratorio II has settled in well and has got his dressage at 10.50 tomorrow.

It is a very special venue here at Millstreet and it is pretty popular with over 400 entries.   It is a shame it clashes with Blair and I have heard that even the ERM final is down in entries this weekend.  Lets hope in the future the FEI can sort these events out not clashing.  It is nothing like as beautiful as Blair but it is undoubtedly a venue of the future.
