Today was show jumping at Waregem, and we had a good day.  The course wasn’t too complicated so there were lots of clears.     Yes I Can was first on, and he went clear with 1 time fault which has put him in 20th place.  Little Fire was next and he also jumped a lovely clear inside the time, and has moved up to 6th place.  I was very pleased with both of them. &...

We have had a dry but very blustery day with lots of flag slapping so Little Fire was a little bit on his toes.  But he overall produced a very pleasing test to score 27.8 which is very much in contention.  He had a few little bits of his test that will improve, so a 28 could soon be a lot lower.  It was a great education and a very good arena to be in ahead of Pau.

 Here we are on our next crazy weekend, this time it’s Waregem!Yes I Can was my first up for dressage and he is here hopefully to get his first CIC3* qualification, and that is all the aim is.He really performed jolly well today in the dressage and scored a 30.  He did nothing really wrong at all and I probably could have asked a bit more at times, but he was really relaxed and con...

We have had a very productive day at Pontispool amazingly with all five horses getting a place.  The dressage overall went pretty well with all five horses being in the 20’s.   Ludo FH had his last run before Osberton and his second Intermediate. Rio backed up his solid cross country with a lovely clear in the show jumping and he moved up into second place.  He really did his best to clear every fence and he came home inside the quite tight optimum time.  I don’t feel I gave him a foot perfect ride so was very chuffed he was so good to me, but he really meant to clear the fences, and it was a super improvement on Bramham.&n...
