We had a great day at Burnham Market today, quite unexpectedly Grafennacht pulled it off to win the Advanced, my first in quite a time.  She led the dressage on a score of 24 with a very nice test, it wasn't perfect but it was pretty good.  I was very pleased, she was very accomplished and relaxed, and she was in a very good frame of mind. In the show jumping - she has never jumped better.  She jumped her socks off and I was delighted with how she felt over quite a big course. Then came cross country and I felt I ought to push on a bit.  My next one is Badminton and I thought it would be good for me to jump a few jumps a bit quicker.  I needed to get my eye in and so did Lillie, so I kicked on a bit.  We went flat out and she was great and gave me a lovely ride.

BLS Absolutely was doing his first Intermediate, and did a very nice dressage test, and he answered all the questions. It is the first time has done an Intermediate dressage in the actual arena, and he led on 28.  He jumped a  really good round frustratingly with one down.  He came out feeling really good and I was very pleased with how well he jumped.  On the cross country he was excellent, took it all on, was very straight and genuine and gave me a good round, and there was no hurry.

Sara Bech Strom was doing her dressage test in the 4* today.  She was last to go and Dicte did very well with a nice test.  Sara was a little disappointed with her mark of 39, it did seem a little bit harsh and I thought she could have got a few more points, but we were all very pleased with her first 4* test this year.

Team Fox-Pitt had a good day.  It was slightly chillier than I expected, but dry which made a pleasant change, and the ground was excellent.
