Just had a long busy day at Weston Park, but very useful trip overall.  I had four in the Advanced and one Intermediate.  All five did decent tests and jumped very well.

This was Bay My Hero's last run before leaving for Kentucky on Wednesday.  He did a very confident test to score 31. Apart from knocking the first fence down he show jumped really well, and gave me a fantastic ride cross country.  I took him as quickly as I dared given how close to the flight it is, so fingers crossed he is OK tomorrow.

Chilli Morning also did a very good test although he only got 32.....  He show jumped clear and was great cross country, perhaps a little strong once or twice.  The course this year was quite twisty and I felt it rather encouraged him to take these fences on.

Parklane Hawk led the dressage in his arena on 25.4 with a superb test, probably one of the best he has produced in a one-day.  He made no mistakes and I feel he has really moved up a gear this season.  I was pleased with his show jumping although he had one down, and he was very relaxed and calm cross country.  This will probably be his last run before Badminton.

Cool Mountain also did an excellent dressage on 27, which had him in third place.  He just touched the planks off in show jumping, otherwise he jumped well, and he gave me a superb ride cross country on great form.

Luxury FH had a run in the Intermediate.  He was very over excited and will have benefited from his outing.  His dressage of 31 was much better than at Gatcombe, and he had couple of poles down in the show jumping, but the ground had got very sticky after the intermediate classes, and he flew around the cross country very happily.

The ground overall was very good after the heavy rain earlier in the week, with only a few soft patches, and the courses rode well.  They had made a few good changes but I did feel the Advanced was less flowing than it usually is.
