Burghley - trot-ups

Burghley trot up went well. Bay My Hero passing with flying colours….literally. He was very fresh and very naughty, showing off to the crowd, and he didn’t show the ground jury too much in the way of a proper trot. He is always quite cheeky at trot-ups but today he was a little more than that. Luckily he has a couple of days to settle down before his test on Friday.
I have not had a chance to walk the course yet, but have heard reports that there is plenty to jump as usual.
Sadly, after much deliberation, Catherine Witt and I decided not to bring Parklane Hawk . He has not had a run since Badminton and we felt it would be an unfair question.
Dressage test time:-
William and Bay My Hero are on at 15.49 on Friday for their dressage test.
