Bicton - Friday

It was a pretty good day at Bicton.  The day started off with Under Oath finally having his first run, and he did a pretty decent dressage to score 30 and then did a lovely easy double clear, and thoroughly enjoyed himself.

Duke Legacy was out for the first time since Cirencester and actually he showed a slight side of rust on the cross country.  He did a decent test of 29, rolled a pole, but then on the cross country giving me a really decent round he suddenly took aversion to the steps down and I had to represent.  I think he felt it was a long time since he last jumped off a drop.  It wasn't a winning day so a hiccup couldn't have mattered less.

Yes I Can was out again and did another pleasing dressage test with a score of 31, the mark wasn't much to write about but I was quite excited he was only one mark behind Toledo de Kerser.  In the show jumping, although he jumped well, he was slightly untidy as he nearly jumped me off on the third fence. I am not quite sure what happened but I lost my stirrup and it all looked slightly unprofessional.  On the cross country he gave me a brilliant ride and really was nice and confident.

I am back tomorrow with Cayiano, so plan A is not to fall off.
