Summer at Fernhill acquitted himself well with a pleasing test.  He did some good work with a score of 29 which puts him in 11th place so he has got everything to go for tomorrow, and I will be hoping the ground doesn’t get too cut up.  We go out on the cross country at 16.42

Under Oath was today’s star performer and did a lovely test in the 7yo final which scored 25.7, and has got him in the lead.  He produced some very smart work and as he is so relaxed he just doesn't seem to make a mistake. And I shall be hoping tomorrow he picks his feet up. His show jumping is my first event tomorrow morning at 10.52.

Rowan was riding Sceilig Concordio in the 6yo final and ended up doing a nice test, but a few mistakes meant that he got a score of 41.9 which is a bit disappointing.  It is not at all concerning because the horse has got all the ability there.  They are show jumping tomorrow at 13.52.

Adam was riding Secret Night in the 2*L and did a lovely test and we were a bit disappointed that he got such a bad mark as we thought that he could easily have been in the 20’s.  They go cross country at 11.36 tomorrow.

We are hoping the ground holds up, it is no longer raining but it is certainly not drying up very fast. A lot of the course is on very good ground, on the lawn in front of the house, and part is on slightly softer ground. So we will see what happens
