Chilli Morning was superb today in Malmo in the dressage and went into 2nd place scoring 36.6.
He did a superb test but it was annoying to make one silly mistake in his second change which he doesn't normally do, and which was quite expensive in the end. However he is on best form - Tracey Robinson has been fantastic helping get him there.
The team is lying third which is where we expected to be. There will be no room for mistakes and time faults tomorrow!
The course is a very interesting and testing track, with very little galloping, a lot of twists and turns and technical questions. So Chilli will have to be listening, and if not then very good at following the string.
The course feels very tight and we anticipate the optimum being very difficult to achieve, but by the time I get to go I should know exactly how things are going.
