Just back from two very successful days at Wilton Horse Trials.

I ran two horses in the Open Novice yesterday.  Luxury FH had an excellent day to win the section on his dressage score with 23.5.  This will be his last novice run and his next outing is Aston Le Walls Intermediate.  Deli Dynamic also went very well, finishing on his dressage score of 29, in 7th place.  The Wilton team had made a fantastic effort aerating the whole course which made all the difference.

Today the going was even better, helped by some heavy overnight rain, it was ideal for the advanced horses having an Open Intermediate outing.

Running Order had the best result finishing 4th.  I was very pleased with his dressage test of 26.4, which had him in the lead.  He rolled a pole show jumping, and went well across cross country just adding 7.6 time faults.

Before Time had a good run before the Intermediate Championships next weekend, jumping double clear after a dressage of 35.

Chilli Morning felt very good today scoring 25 in the dressage and jumping double clear.

I was very pleased with Neuf Des Couers who also did a lovely test of 25.5 and jumped double clear, finishing 7th.

Lionheart was on good form too; he got 28 in the dressage so a very pleasing test, show jumped brilliantly, and jumped well in the cross country for fun.

These three horses got between 10-10.8 time faults, which I felt was a good speed, and we have hopefully set them up well for their next outings.

The Wilton cross country course caused a little bit of trouble but I felt they asked big questions and overall rode really well.
