It was very exciting to win the first rosesettes of the 2014 season.

Reinstated finished second in his BE100 section.  He did a very nice test, scored 24, and jumped a nice easy double clear.

It was seriously foggy and the start was delayed.  However most people managed to navigate their way around, even though visibility at times cannot have been much more 50 metres.

This was my first competition with The Soapdodger, who is a new young horse belonging to Catherine Witt.  I was very pleased with his dressage of 28, he has got lovely paces so that will be an easy phase for him.  He also jumped a very good double clear, but incurred 3 time faults leaving him in 4th place.

Topaze du Plain was having an outing in the Novice, he was very on his toes to score 38 in the dressage, he then show jumped a good clear, feeling much more relaxed.  I then decided not to go cross country, and am waiting for Gatcombe Novice next weekend.

Line Andresen had a very pleasing day on Blazie Boy, going double clear after her 37 dressage.

Sophie Pritschau had a much needed run in the Novice on the effervescent Brer Rabbit III.  A little bit similar to Topaze, but I think she will forgive him his dressage of 40.
