Pontispool

After a quick turn around we headed down to Pontispool this morning.

Macchiato was in the OI as part of his reperation for Pau.  He got a dressage score of 36 which was actually quite a nice calm test for him and he jumped a good double clear. Although I took him quietly as the ground was surprisingly firm it was a good outing for him.

Freddie Mac had his first ever outing in the BE100 and could not have gone better.  He was second after dressage scoring 25 and jumped double clear to finish in 2nd.  Also in the BE100 Star Time was having his second outing and scored 32 in the dressage, he then jumped double clear leaving him in 6th and Goldsmiths Enzo scored 36 staying on his dressage score to finish 10th. All in all it was a very satisfactory day and it was execllent to have the young ones out starting their Autumn campaign.

Pontispool were very lucky and the gales didn't quite hit but everyone had to work very hard to keep the show jumps up.  

Avoca Alibi's departure to Ballindenisk has been delayed due to high winds but we hope to catch the afternoon ferry tomorrow.
