We made it to Burnham Market late last night, always a dreaded drive on an Easter weekend but it wasn't too painful in the end.

Ramdam de Mons did his first Intermediate and after a lovely dressage of 26 which had him in the lead he jumped a superb clear show jumping, but had a ridiculous 20 cross country at one of the easiest fences on the course!  He could not have gone better taking all the direct routes and really rising to the challenge, but he just seemed to take exception to a hanging log.  The Intermediate course was fairly decent with a difficult combination heading to a corner which caused a lot of trouble.  So the good thing is that he was not in any way phased by any of the interesting questions.

Fernhill Pimms in the CIC3* did some very good work, and although he was clearly quite excited, managed to contain himself to score 41.3 which has him amongst the leaders.

Luxury FH, also in the CIC3*, did an excellent calm test and tried his best from beginning to end,  I couldn't ask for more at the stage he is at, and when I left his mark still wasn't up.

Bay My Hero is on tomorrow in the Advanced.

The 3* course looks fair enough with a good variety of questions.  They have had plenty of rain and although the ground is cutting up it is still pretty good and I hope it will hold up well.
